Agreed, this is a must have for moving big flat panels. I know of several guys having ripped their biceps carrying plywood the conventional method, by hand. I bought this not wanting to suffer injury the same way and after 40 sheets of ply and 40 sheets of sheetrock I am glad I did.
One word of warning, and the reason I dropped a star rating, if carrying panels up stairs be careful as the panels, especially plywood, tend to slide. I used double faced tape to apply an old sanding belt which provided plenty of friction to prevent sliding. Aside from that, buy this thing and save yourself from possible injury.

Provides just enough length for grabbing the bottom of a 4′x8′ sheet (in lieu of longer arms) so one person can carry it. Sturdy enough to lift 3/4″ 7-ply birch plywood (pretty heavy). It’s made of heavy duty plastic, so it doesn’t add a lot of weight to what you’re lifting.

I found this product to work well. I modified it because I found it hard to keep the weight of 5/8 inch sheetrock from opening my grip on the handle. I took a small fabric “tie down” and looped it though the handle and around my shoulder (on the side opposite the carrying side) so that the weight of the panel was transferred to my shoulder. I found this to be more comfortable than holding the handle with my hand.

This is one of those simple items that you have to have…and wished you invented it. It does exactly what it says and makes carrying sheet goods by yourself a much easier job.
